Birds are usually perch on trees but more often than not this WBWS likes to perch on the wires. You got a good shot there. Well done Edu. Mabuhay.

Composition works for me. Beautiful bird ... Thank you sir. I took a gamble on a tight crop. Any wider and I would have included a lot of wayward and distracting objects.

I agree. Excellent composition plus good details make this picture beautiful! Now that there are two top-notch photographers who agree on the crop, I guess I really did get away with it. Thank you sir for appreciating!

Yes sir, this particular one was actually foraging for insects, kept flying off, going in a circle then landing back to this perch. On one occasion, when it flew, I positioned myself for this shot and took it immediately. But it still stayed there for several more poses and was even joined by another woodswallow. They flew off when a golf cart passed by.

Everybody already said it so I'll just add my agreement: totally like seeing a woodswallow perched on wood and not on a wire. Congrats, Edu on nailing this one.
