This is the first of the Australian avian species I manage to capture during my various sorties in Brisbane, Australia. It took a while before I can post them because I have to sort out, post process 60 GB of images. More to come as I finish posting them in my web site. Yellow-rumped Thornbill Canon 1D MarkIII, Canon 500mm f/4 IS L, Tripod Mounted Focus Distance 9.34m, FL - 500mm, ISO 800, 1/800 sec @ f/7.1

Perfect angle on this beauty Bong, very nice Bokeh and the colors of the melted foreground add a lot to this image.

Thank you guys! I remember that I took this shot while we were packing ready to leave, when I saw this birds hopping on the ground. I remember that I should take the shot the way Ka Mastah did his famous Cebu wader shots.

The bird in the center of the focus area while the surrounding is blurred by the range of the depth of field. 3 P's for you. Picture perfect photograph. Well done Bong. Mabuhay.
