Hehehe..... from my sources at NAIA, a 600 f4 IS just got into the country, and ended up in the hands of a certified birdnut.
My lips are sealed, but I can't wait to see the first photos from that bad, bad big glass...... congrats to the new owner of a 6-incher*!
;D

Hehehehe. I'm waiting for those pictures too! And guess who is seriously thinking of selling his 500mm so he can buy a 600mm, too? Hehehe. My lips are soldered in place at the moment. :-)

Not surprising, as such a gargantuan optical piece can't be easily concealed in our small islands. ;D

Wow, almost a complete gang Marester.... where's the Bobbyman? Osawa-san's lens looks pitifully tiny in the first photo.

And guess who is seriously thinking of selling his 500mm so he can buy a 600mm, too? Now that I've seen some incriminating photos from Bohol, and presuming that somebody was curious and tried the 600 f4 there, I think I now have a good idea who.

The adventure took us to hidden lake, very deep ravines, forested areas, hill tops, river beds, etc of Cebu... All of these in one day.... not sure if its a picnic or birding but no doubt a day full of fun with the birdnuts in this locality.
