Big congrats to Toto for bagging this very rare capture of a Mindoro endemic. If catching a Philippine endemic is exciting, getting one found nowhere else in the world but in a smallish Philippine island multiplies the significance of the capture 10x!!!!

Congrats, bro! Still kicking myself for not being able to pull off a decent capture of this bird in the open.

Uy ... Thanks Mastah for the selection. And many thanks to fellow birdnuts Mark, Edu, Sir Ely. Lady luck was on my side perhaps. Without her I could not have gotten a decent shot of this super tiny bird. Super tiny since it is the smallest I have seen so far and to see even from 5 meters apart.
