I found that the Sigma 150-500 OS Zoom seems to AF fast on the 1DMK2, so I went to Jugan to try the combo out on flying birds and here are some shots from the trip: Brahminy Kite - clear background: Whiskered Tern - Busy Background: All were shot at f/9, ISO 800, Aperture Priority. Tv 1/1250~1/2000. Best regards!

Looks like the 150-500 OS is turning into a gem with the 1D2, Bobby! That should be a mean video lens too (with its OS and framing flexibility) when you'd get a new DSLR.

I was pleasantly surprised that it performed fast enough for some real action shots. As for the new DSLR, I'm really waiting for the next consumer "60D" even at 14 Megapixels ONLY, as long as the noise at HI ISO is better than the current crop of consumer grade cameras Canon is offering. :-)

These are great shots. I have the same body and curious as well how this lens will perform with the 1DMk2. I just sold my 50D and keep the 1DMk2. I just hope I will not feel any selling remorse.

I'd choose the 1D2 over the 50D any day of the week. I too had a 50D, believe me, the 1D2'S AF will blow it away, and the IQ is great, as long as you don't crop too much. :-)
