Congrats to Prof. Jerry for capturing this behavior of the Brown Shrike preying on a smaller bird (apparently a young Eurasian Tree Sparrow), very well done!

Congratulations. It is the proof that shows that this bird is carnivorous. But it does have its purpose in the food chain. Their presence on the second half of the year, marks the beginning of the coming of the migratory birds. Well done Prop Jerry. Mabuhay.
