I'm about to lose my insanity because the current high temperatures are making birds scarce. Here's a desperate effort to keep my wits out of whack. ;D TINY SPIDER AT ISO 1600. Shooting info - 7D + 100 2.8 USM Macro II, f/5.6, 1/250 sec, ISO 1600, manual exposure in available light (no flash), hand held, spot center point AF in AI servo, 9 MP crop resized to 1500x1000, OOF areas NR'ed to death, spider is circa 8-10 mm across including legs.

That's my streamlined head indeed reflected in the larger eyes.... you have sharp vision even without your 600 mm, partner!

If the original file is noisy indeed, you've done an excellent job of removing it. Excellent macro shot and this lens just suddenly jumps to the top to be my next purchase lens.

For a while I thought Neon was hallucinating since he has been in jail for sometime and probably just itching for his parole so he can go birding. Taking a second look, I still can't see you but I do see a dark outline that could be you. Considering how small the spider is the picture must be perfectly focus to get that kind of outline.
