The full moon has just started to rise in the eastern horizon as I type this, with the skies over Paranaque virtually cloudless. Time to bring out the Sigmonster + new 3421 for some lunar fun. Wish I were at Ding's place in Antipolo for even better seeing conditions. Recommended exposure for full moon (Moonie 11) - f/11, ISO 200, 1/200-1/250 sec.

Here's our moon as seen from Cebu City, Philippines: I used the Manfrotto Gimbal Head for this shot - my first real shot using the device. It works like a dream. Thanks so much Ka Romy!! :-)

Whoah..... extreme details, Bobby! Moonie 11 for a full moon works great, isn't it? I'm still uploading my shots.

Sorry folks, the size of this moonshoot will ruin the page's format..... 1600 mm was too long for the full moon, so I took two frames from many attempts and stitched these together. ;D 2000x2000 pixels
