Thanks for the heads up, Bong..... I guess 720/60p has issues, that's why it wasn't included.

Yes Romy, maybe that's the reason. I was looking for it because I remember that the 60 fps is one of the main feature that you're interested in. I guess we just have to wait for the next update.

Wowowwwwww!!!!!! The manual audio controls work great - the hiss is gone now with my MKE400, and the audio is much better, much fuller low frequencies.

I just finished testing which manual audio setting works best as default for the MKE 400.
1. Windscreen off and "+" position of the MKE 400 switches 2. Set the audio levels manually to about 37.5% (about halfway between the 1/4 and 1/2 marker).
This is about the sweet spot where sensitivity and gain are about right for most birding situations. When the wind is blowing, switch on the windscreen switch.
When there is time to fine tune the setting under ambient audio conditions, the audio level meters work very well. The key is to set the level so the loudest sound won't go over the edge (very similar to exposure control and histogram).
I'm amazed how well the MKE 400 sounds now - the low frequencies are much fuller and hiss is very controlled or non-existent.

sounds great Romy. I already updated our 5D's last night but haven't tested it. What brand is MKE 400 ?
