Doc Mando has been casing the Frogs area for possible narcissus FC this past few days so I tried this morning. No NFC but lots of AW and a female CKF. I tried the flash again, looks like the flash would be a regular in my rig when I'm using a 2x TC. Using the rig without flash is only possible with a remote and a stationary subject. Played around with the flash setting and here's what I got. Now I can't remember what settings I used. ;D Although I didn't like the shinny feathers when I first viewed it on the camera screen, but using the "burn tool" during PP I was able to decrease some of the unnatural looking feathers and was a little happy with the result. A little bit of messing about with PP I might get it right. Looks like I just have to do this if I want usable flashed photos. 5DM2 + 600 mm f4 IS + 2x Kenko TC + 580EX II, f4, 1/200, ISO 640, Tripod-Gimbal support. AW - a little bit of red eye cloning. CKF (female) - featured bird in the Nov. issue NatGeo Mag. Not this pics though ;D Applied NR on BG and cloned out the red eye.
