Last Saturday, Toto, William, Den, Norman, Olan and I joined Ka Mastah in field testing the Canon 7D. We were not so lucky to satisfy our itch for the 7D as rains never stopped from pouring from the heavens. But we got loads of tips and lectures from the Mastah, and he even showed us and actually modelled how to shoot under the rain when not inside the car: Canon 50D 100-400mm@170mm 1/1000 f6.3 iso640

hi, ha ha ha. you can also use a foliage patterned or green colored umbrella, can be very good sneaking tool under the rain and from the searing sun

What a neat idea!
I wonder if there's a Realtree ® pattern available. I guess true-blooded birdnuts wil dig this.
Also, an umbrella clamp attached to the tripod to hold the umbrella ... problem solved!
