Still part of the D90 road test, I tried to see how it handles an 18-55 kit Nikon lens plus Kenko 2X/Macro teleconverter. I wanted to post one straight from the camera so I shot jpeg Camera: Nikon D90 Exposure: 0.01 sec (1/100) Aperture: f/0.0 Focal Length: 0 mm Focal Length: 5.0 mm ISO Speed: 800 Exposure Bias: +3 EV Flash: No Flash No aperture or focus reading as the TC messes with the readings.

This one is ISO 1600.. I used to avoid high-ISO shots like the plague! Camera: Nikon D90 Exposure: 0.04 sec (1/25) Aperture: f/0.0 Focal Length: 0 mm Focal Length: 5.0 mm ISO Speed: 1600 Exposure Bias: +3

Wow! You and your gear is a match made in heaven. Very nice shots you got. The trichomes of the plant and the red ant are very clear and crisp.

Thanks guys!! @ed, yup! It's a keeper alright! Am eyeing a 70-200 F2.8 plus this TC as a nice multipurpose combo. And then lie in wait for a 400prime from Nikon. @binot, its a hibiscus being coaxed open by the ant (I think )
