It has been said.. if it's worth doing, it's worth overdoing ;D Here I turned the BG to B/W and added motion blurr. Set it to diagonal and voila!!! There are some areas where I messed up during the lasso part as I don't have a mouse.

Thanks Ed and Neon. The second one I processed to be monochrome to post in the monochrome birds thread. But found it toooo bland. So I colored up the eye. I like it.

Thanks Binot and Mastah for the compliments! Yes I guess it does look like a slow shutter waterfall shot. Binot, I just followed the process of duplicating the original colored image layer and desaturated the layer copy then proceeded to erase the bird from the desaturated layer. Then I added another step by applying a blur filter (Motion Blur) and rotated the angle by 45degrees. I guess I got a good result based on the comments.
