In the recent Aliwan Fiesta 2009 (National Festivals Competition) last April 25 in Manila the Ibon Ebon contingent was Runner-up (5th) among more than 20 of the best Street Dance Groups in the country. In the recent Bangus Festival in Dagupan, it won the Grand Prize in the Municipality Category beating 13 others. The Ibon Ebon was a crowd favorite in both places. This will boost the effort to inculcate wildlife (wild bird) conservation. Mabuhay ang mga bird nuts!
