Out of curiosity I wonder what you guys use.
All my stuff just undergoes a 5 minute Aperture adjustment and exported to flickr. If I cant fix it I chuck it.

Mainly Capture NX2 now. Then Photoshop CS2 (I have CS4, but I haven't installed it yet), for the things NX2 can't do.

I use Photoshop CS4. Always sort through and rate raw images using Adobe Bridge and Adobe Camera RAW. I then have an automated function that creates TIFF files with all the layers I need for fine tuning.

LR2, Photoshop, Picasa - in this order
LR2 - for the bulk of my images, quick adjustments, file management, Slides & Web-Building. It is also good for sorting your keepers from the losers. Photoshop - for altering the image. Creativiyt, masking, layering, photomerge, etc Picasa - for work laptop so I do not violate corporate code of ethics.
oh by the way. I'm a pack-rat. I never throw anything. What's not useful now may have future use IMHO ;D 1TB is cheap. not need to be kuripot on HD space ;D

I envy those who have large storage capacities because they can keep many pictures as they could. I'll invest on that stuff...

Gee thanks for the tip, I'll probably ask my auntie in Chicago it would be a nice advance Xmas gift.
Lightroom needs to be exposed to the open since people are used to PS. I myself finds LR by accident
