Have you guys made your own lenscoats, legcoats and a quick throw over blind that looks like a camo-print blanket thrown over a person? As bringing in these things are a hassle maybe a local tailor could make one from scratch? Pump money into the local economy. Just need to look for some neoprene and military camouflage. Also is it safe to wear camo in the Philippines seeming a lot of places with generous amounts of wildlife tends to be also rebel infested.

Hi Paolo, Go to Dau, I've seen rolls of mossy oak camouflage cloth there for P100/yard...I was thinking of buying and have it tailored for whatever I could think of. When I get paroled...

Interesting... I hope no NPA or PAF will mistake me as a sniper.

Interesting... I hope no NPA or PAF will mistake me as a sniper. That's a problem all the time, especially with your rocket launcher . I guess you just use plain khaki or beige when going to places you are not sure of. ;D as always "safety first" ;D

I've been encouraging PBPF members to come out with proto-types of birdshooting accessories, like lens covers, bean bags, hides, gimbal heads, vests, hats, etc. We can torture test these in local extreme birding conditions and if ok, these can be sold online to international birdshooters. We can open up a PBPF online store to promote these.

I see some real neat camo stuff including camo 'spandex' at those Airsoft shops. I believe there is one at Tiendesitas.

Do they sell that spandex stuff in sheets? Better question would be are there neoprene sheets being sold locally? I see some real neat camo stuff including camo 'spandex' at those Airsoft shops. I believe there is one at Tiendesitas.

Am not sure if the spandex is sold in sheets. What I got was a sniper's blanket.
As for the neoprene, I'll do my best to contact the store and post the info here.

In the magazines of "Fileds and Streams" the hunters use many types of camouflage, blinds and anglers use even them plus long waders.
In my opinion, here locally these may not be that appropriate as when photobirdrers group themselves going to forested areas (even barrio roads) they may be mistaken as either NPA or PAF as ppaaoolloo pointed out
