Was on my way home last night when I noticed the moon so bright and close. The last time I saw it that close, I had my cam lent to a friend, so I didn't have a chance to take a photo. Deciding not to let the opportunity pass, I grabbed my gear as soon as I got home and braved the streets of Manila alone. It was 1am. Somehow I got a "close" shot of the moon, though still a far cry from the captures I've seen here. Wish I had an 800mm. The Moon, 19 December 2008, 01:11:18 GMT+08:00 Quirino Avenue, Malate, Manila D40 + 70-300 VR, 300mm, ISO 200, 1/10s, f/13, Manual Expoure in the moonlight, 190XB/484RC2, ML-L3 Heavily cropped at 100%, USM
