I can't seem to get tired of these ducks found only in our islands.... here's one from yesterday's Candaba sortie. ;D Philippine Duck ( Anas luzonica, a Philippine endemic) 1DM2 + 500 f4 L IS + Canon 1.4x TC, 700 mm, f/7.1, ISO 320, 1/1600 sec, manual exposure, 475B/3421 support, RAW: Romy

Excuse my ignorance. hahaha The small area of the wings and the relatively heavy body of the duck require very fast wing beats for take-off. Even 1/1600 sec shutter speed was not fast enough to freeze the wing tips, which move the fastest among all parts of the flapping wing.

I still have to try the Bigma on the Ducks at SRP. So far the weather/fog prevents me form doing this.

Idol Romy, at 1/1600th i can't even freeze the duck's heartbeat, so i still get blurred chests. hahaha.
