Help please. What greenshank is this? The individual involved is the second one from the left in the first photo, second from the foreground left in the second photo, and center in the third photoo. I have spotted this in San Juan, Batangas together with Philippine ducks, garganeys, northern shovelers, Eurasian curlews, tabon bird and some other birds within the same corner of a fishpond. I am thinking this might be (maybe the others too?) a Nordmann's greenshank in non-breeding plummage. I have used the OBC archive for comparison. The photos have been taken at about 100 meters distance with spotting scope at 60x coupled with a 3.2 megapixel camera at 3x optical zoom set at ISO 100, 1/400 exposurre, 5.6 aperture under terribly windy conditions. These photographs have not been adjusted in any way. I request for our experts to look into this.
