The cuckoos are back. This means there must be plenty of caterpillars around. This means the insect-eating migratory birds are going to be lingering around for a while. This means fruit-eating migratory birds are going to hear feeding frenzy in some spots. This means even these fruit eaters are going to linger around for a while, especially because the mulberry trees are fruiting. In particular, the adult Philippine hawk cuckoo is back around the cuckoo place (more on the opposite side of the new building) and has been photographed by Prof. Mando last Thursday.
