If anyone noticed (or read my thread), I'm on vacation for a full week last week. Before we left though, I filled all the feeders with seeds, and the two hummer feeders with fresh nectars.
When we arrived back home, they're all empty. Looks like there's a feeding frenzy or some sort.
The seed feeders I'm not really worry about, as the birds will surely come back. And they did.
I refilled the two hummingbird feeders, but I haven't seen a single hummer yet.
Looks like when they noticed that there's no more nectar around, they left and went somewhere else. The weather I heard cooled down last week too. So maybe they started their annual migration to the south.
I really don't know what to feel right now. I just wish they're all ok and nature is just taking it's due course.
Well, hopefully the hummers from Canada will find their way to my backyard on their way to their migration to the south.
Thanks for reading.

Trying to chase a feral cat out of the backyard this morning, I saw a hummer on one of the trees. It flew away once it saw me walking on tha patio. It's darker looking than the ones I have in the backyard before. I haven't seen it feed on the feeder yet, so it must be a new guy on the block!
So hopefully I can attract these guys, even for a short time.
I feel better now.
