I'm browsing our forums via mobile broadband from somewhere in Candaba (currently getting a slowish 800 kbps)... ;D
Looks like Leny M. beat me to posting news about the new bird at our Yahoo egroup - a male White-shouldered Starling at Candaba. I actually saw six individuals, but they are very shy, and I only managed a blurry record shot of a male from afar. The KG says there were only 5 records of this bird, all before 1911... ;D
Will upload the pics tomorrow night, right now I'm sipping rum-cola on the rocks, enjoying the smell of freshly-harvested rice stalks that permeates the cool air.... ;D
