Sheryl Crow that is. ;D ;D ;D
Ok, sorry folks as this is OT. Just having fun.
Last Friday night, we drove to Lake Tahoe (Nevada side) to watch Sheryl Crow's concert (with guest James Blunt) on Saturday night.
I brought my D300 with me, and just brought small lenses, my kit lens 18-135mm/3.5-5.6, 50mm/1.8, and the fisheye 10.5mm/2.8. Hoping that they won't suspect me as a pro (which I'm not) and will allow me since I don't have any big glass.
To my surprise, they didn't even check my backpack. The front act was so so, and when James Blunt started, there were several photographers came infront to take pictures. Might be the official photographer as he has full gears, then another one with a DSLR, then another one, and followed by several with digicams and camera phones (of course several of those are displaying their new iPhones). I immediately took my camera out, and joined the party.
I initially used my kit lens, but I'm not happy with the results. So I changed glass using my trusty 50mm/1.8.
I'm basically infront of him:
We we're seated close to the aisle, so I can get in and out easily. Taking pictures along the aisle were prohibited, but they don't mind us taking pictures infront.
But when the drunk couple arrived to take their aisle seat, I don't want to piss them off so I just stayed on my seat to take pictures. Here's some of them:
It's hard to nail down the exposures, as the lighting won't keep still.
No post-processing on these, 2 of them are cropped, and 2 are full frame, just resized for web.
Enjoy.
(I could post more if there's enough request)
