It's definitely not a pratincole. Hmmmm it somehow looks like a cuckoo of some sort because of the curved beak. Honestly don't have an idea. I'd really like to know what it is too. Congratulations Bong. I'm sure it's a lifer for you

Congrats, Bong..... looks like an immature Cacomantis merulinus to me (the habitat described in the KG also matches with Hardin's). Here's one I got at Candaba last February for reference:
