It looks like a pigeon but it's body was twice the size of a pigeon. I've almost mistaken it for an owl when it was flying due to the size of it's wings. And the neck, it is much longer neck. Besides I was in the marshes/dikes, I did not see any other variety of pigeons in the area: 40D | 70-200mm f4L IS | 200mm, f6.3, 1/1600, ISO 400 | Action | CR2 | Sharpening filter & Auto-levels, handheld, IS=enabled: 40D | 70-200mm f4L IS | 200mm, f6.3, 1/320, ISO 100 | Av | CR2 | Sharpening filter & Auto-levels, handheld, IS=enabled:

ooops.
Unfortunately it's not a pinoy native. It's a Canadian Bird. There's a marsh just 10 minute drive where I live called Pitt lake. It's about 30 minute drive on the outskirt of Vancouver.
To be honest my question is more to grab your opinion. I figured some of the experts may recognize the shape/features even if it's not a local bird.

Looks like a Band-tailed Pigeon (Patagioenas fasciata).

I agree with Eric. It is a Band-tailed. Here's one taken in Pasadena, California
