Hmmmm better text them now before the storm gets worst ;D JP's D300 would suffice PLUS all their lenses Seriously, I hope the rain stops na. Those two CRAZY guys are chilled to the bones na daw and they're seeing roseate spoonbills, in breeding plumage, flying everywhere !

Bwuahahaha..... as they're filming this raging storm, I'm a few kilometers to the north at the other side of the wetlands, safe and dry inside my car, which is parked on a concrete road. Sorry guys and gals, definitely no inheritance for anybody yet (gosh.... that D300 of JP looks great, and Martin's 80-400 OS is an exceptional copy). I called the duo just after the storm passed us, and they're fine.... except that not one of us was able to take a shot.

.... except that not one of us was able to take a shot. Hmmm.... I checked my CF cards and I did have some photos taken when the raging rain subsided to a light shower. You have to trust me that this is indeed a Black Bittern. ;D And a Blue-tailed Bee-eater flying in lousy light over water, under some rainshower:

JP, if you'd have texted me that you had some firewater in there, I would've walked several kilometers through mud. ;D

if you think about it 5 years ago this wouldn't have been possible to be able to email a video captured on your phone in a matter of seconds or post it online. the wonders of technology.
