Yes, Nestor... with the thin, uncurved bill, I'd say it's an Oriental Skylark ( Alauda gulgula). Big congrats! Where was it taken (general area only)? For reference, here's an Oriental Skylark from Malasi lake: And a Singing Bushlark ( Mirafra javanica) from the same place... note the difference in shape of bill. Romy

Yes, Romy you are right. With Lark sp. always compare first the bill length, thickness, curvature of culmen (culmen = the upper mandibular edge when seen on profile).
