Escaped? So it's usually seen as pets in captivity? I hope these birds find a good home.

Had forgotten about this completely. Yes, they would have had to be escapes certainly. Native only to Australia. Commonly kept as pets. If three were captured from one locale then possibly an escaped pair and a youngster from an initial nesting. The photos that I saw were of an immature bird of indeterminate (at that developmental stage) sex.
