Just wanna share a music video of the late Israel "IZ" Kamakawiwo'ole, among my favorite singers. I never get tired of listening to his rendition of Somewhere Over the Rainbow/What a Wonderful World.

Very nice Romy. Thanks for sharing. I know this was used in one of the movie soundtracks but can't seem to remember which movie - I heard this beautiful rendition of the song in that movie for the first time but never knew who the singer was.

Both these songs are already my personal favorites in their original versions. But IZ's simple and soulful rendition brings these songs over the top.... I play it endlessly while doing PP work.

Hi Tina and Romy,
I heard this song in the movies '50 First Dates' and 'Meet Joe Black'. I think there's one more movie that used this song but I just can't remember it now.
I love this song. Perfect for nature loving people.

Perfect for nature loving people. Thanks Ariel No wonder this song is super familiar. Both 50 First Dates and Meet Joe Black are favorites of mine. I've watched those movies so many times already ;D ;D ;D It gives me an excuse to watch them again today - I have to look for the part where they played this song ;D ;D ;D

Just found a free download site for the whole "Facing Future" album containing the said pieces. Burning the music CD now so I can listen to it in the car. ;D BTW, this specific medley (Over the rainbow/Wonderful wolrd) is just 4.7 MB in MP3.... should you guys and gals wish to listen to it, PM me.

Tina, this song was also featured in the movie "Finding Forrester" starring my look-alike, Sean Connery. ;D
