When the birds are slow to appear, it's fun aiming my lens at whatever Birdnuts I can find in the wetlands. ;D ;D ;D Here's sharing a couple of interesting creatures I got the other day: Common Name: Black-lensed Pixelshooter (male in breeding plumage, Alabang endemic) Scientific Name : Floatensis blindeumCommon Name: Common Five-legged Birdnut (male in post-breeding plumage, migrant, winters off the coast of Australia, seen in the photo carrying 3 of his legs) Scientific Name : Avianus lunaticus

I have quite a collection of birdnuts. Ka Mastah, can you please start a new thread where I can upload? Not just for Candaba.

Bwahahahaha!! Those are Certified Birdnut 5 Stars!!
The A. lunaticus can be Identified for being active even in high noon. It carries its own water supply and will go loony when taken away from the avian species for a considerable length of time.
The F.blindium also goes loony when taken away from the avian species but becomes amphibious when confronted with a bird in the middle of a pond.

Ang macho ng dating! Pang pin-up! ;D Somehow, Neon reminds me here of an artillery man transfering his mortar to another firing position. ;D
