I'll take note of the free-roaming birds only. Thank you again.

The Philipine Hawk Eagle is probably the most beautiful raptor we have. I saw an adult specimen in Albay Wildlife Park sometime in 2000. That specimen simply looked so beautiful.

I can't believe myself.. is this going too far? Taking out my tele at night and looking for birds? ;D My wife claims I have gone mad... gone mad? ;D Another poster braved the rains and seemed like getting every opportunity in the pauses. Now, this time, ignoring the odds at night and his wife's reactions. Ahahahhaha... what could be next? Rain plus midnight plus flood plus leptospirosis .... plus an overly irritated wife's shouts? ;D oh dear.... the passion with photography. addiction?

That's an amazing shot despite the technical quality.
A Philippine Coucal in Alabang? Well, that's another wow!
Makes me a bit upset about what the picture tries to remind us of the kind of life in the real world though.
Then again, that's how life in the wild goes. God Almighty has designed it to be that and we must understand that its good reasons overwhelm our emotions on this sad part of the whole cycle.

ahhh .... the patience of the obsessed. Great work indeed! Thanks for sharing your technique. Reminds of the "stacking" thing. Reminds me of Malagos as well. geocities.com/lakbay_gubat/myvisit.htmlFirst 2 photos are not mine though. In all the photos i've taken, this one puzzled me. I was thinking if the monkey in the middle and standing might be trying to tell me something. Or maybe the monkey thought i'm his brother and wondering why I was now out of the cage and he's still in.
