Just got to processing this shot of some baby Black-winged Stilts that I saw feeding in a pond over at Jugan. Their mom and dad were just a few meters away, keeping a watchful eye on the pair :-) Nikon D500 / Nikor 200-500 Zoom Combo. Shhoting info: ƒ/5.6; FL: 500.0 mm; 1/500 Sec; ISO 560. No flash used. Baby Black-winged Stilts by Grandpa@50, on Flickr When I went bacl last Sunday, they were both grown up and feeding in the same area :-) Cheers all for New Life! Bobby K.

This is an excellent capture as is, Ka Bobby - lovely eye contact, comp and details. What pushes it over the top however is its documentation of a migratory species now starting to breed in our islands.
Very well done, both for art and science!
