After 11 years, I finally got the chance to photograph this bird again. The first time we saw it was in 2006. I had to call Romy to let him know that we saw this bird and he rushed to Subic right away and got the most beautiful photos that I have ever seen of this bird. The mere sighting of this bird more than made up for my lousy photos of it White-fronted TitParus semilarvatusSubic, Zambales March 23, 2017 5DMkIII + 500mm f/4 + 2x TC ; 1/400 sec; f/4.0; ISO 500; Tripod

WOW, your exposure of this bird is excellent. Details in the black and white parts are well balanced. You still have the touch Ka Idol Tina, and I hope to see more of your bird shots here.

This capture is guilty of excellence on many counts - rarely seen endemic, lovely lighting, unbelievable detail, open beak and great exposure control.
I judge it five stars beyond reasonable doubt on all counts.
Congrats, Plain Idol!
