Used to be that when I went to Jugan, I'd see tons of birds, waders mostly. These days, the birds are far fewer in number and the species are lesser - even Collared Kingfishers are a rarity now. Thrice I went there and didn't even see the Brahminy Kite! This observation leads me to ask: What's going on? Climate change, Fukushima, Planet X, what? Still, I got some shots I'd like to share ... Triplet Reflections: Wood Sandpipers (Tringa glareola) EOS 7D2; Sigma 150-600 Sports; ƒ/8.0, 600.0 mm, 1/1250, ISO 400; Gimbal and Tripod. Triplet Reflections - Wood Sandpipers by Grandpa@50, on Flickr Common Greenshank (Tringa nebularia) EOS 7D2; Sigma 150-600 Sports; ƒ/8.0, 600.0 mm, 1/1250, ISO 400; Gimbal and Tripod. Green Shank with Prey by Grandpa@50, on Flickr And the EF-400 f/5.6L (now more than 10 Years old - bought from Ka Mastah Romy Ocon) still kicks ass ... Javan Pond Heron (Ardeola speciosa) EOS 7D2; Canon EF-400mm f/5.6L; ƒ/6.3, 1/1000, ISO 400; Handheld: Javan Pond Heron Portrait by Grandpa@50, on Flickr I hope you enjoyed the photos, and ponder my questions. Could this loss of birds be the trend now? Are we in the end times? Is climate change and Global cooling really happening now? Is Tateo Osawa Japanese? Or am I still too cute??? Love ya guys! Bobby K.

Excellent series, Ka Bobby! Great to see the ol' 400 still delivering sharp feather detail.
