I finally laid my hands on this light, fast focusing, sharp combo and I tried it at BIFs a couple of days ago.
Great Egret (Egretta alba)
Shooting Info - Sto. Tomas, La Union, Philippines, November 7, 2015, EOS 7D MII + EF 400 DO IS II + EF 1.4x TC III, 560 mm, f/6.3, 1/3200 sec, ISO 320, manual exposure in available light, hand held, uncropped full frame resized to 1500 x 1000.
100% crop (PP workflow optimized for detail/print, and not for web display with heavy NR):

Thanks, Tateo-san! Yes, the 7D2 + 400 DO II + 1.4x III is the ultimate handholdable BIF combo - sharp, fast AF, light, enough reach and 10 fps.
