I've been trying to get a photo of the BNP for a few years now. I never had good views or opportunities to get a good photo. Finally, after many attempts, I got them on two occasions, Dec. 2014 and Jan. 2015. All three photos are near full frame captures, just slightly cropped for better compo. Photos 1 and 3 were taken handheld, 2nd photo with a tripod. Blue-naped Parrot (Tanyghathus lucionensis) Photo 1 and 2 taken, Dec. 29, 2014 Photo 3 taken, Jan. 16, 2015 Equipment used: 5DMK3, 600mm f/4 V2, Canon 1.4xtc3, Gitzo Tripod, 4th Gen head. Location: Subic Bay Photo 1 iso500 600mm plus 1.4xtc f/6.3 1/640sec (av priority/handheld) iso500 600mm plus 1.4xtc f/6.3 1/500sec (av priority) iso500 600mm plus 1.4xtc f/6.3 1/1000sec (av priority, handheld)
