Help, please. Are these truly Asian glossy starlings? They look strange relative to Asian glossy starlings I usually see. They look smaller. They look a bit too plump. They have slender, slimmer bills. They have strange looking head feathers. They have short tails. These have been photographed in Candelaria, Quezon Province using Canon SX50 HS, ISO500, 215, 0 EV, f/8.0, 1/1100, handheld, enhanced using Canon Photo Professional.

The silhouette looks very much like Asian Glossy Starling and the red eyes are most likely of the same bird. I hope some bird expert will be able to confirm this.

Only other starling I know that looks like an AGS is the Short-tailed Starling. But thats found above 900meters. I've only seen them in Mindanao and they have smaller beaks. AGS for me also Prop.
