Behind the swimming pool at Lagen Island is a walkway that leads to the cottages on the lagoon. It is here that it is almost a certainty that you would encounter the White-vented Shama (Copsychus niger) 8 1/2 inches endemic to the Philippines and can only be seen in Palawan. It is a friendly bird and if you are careful you can get close to it and take pictures of it until it flies away or you have enough of it. LOL.
