MANDARIN DUCKAix galericulata Laoag, Ilocos Norte December 18, 2013 We went to Laoag twice to photograph this duck. We went back a total of 6 or 7 times to the site. In the end, we saw it for a minute. Canon 5dmk3, 600mm, 1.4x, 1/640, f 6.3, ISO 1600

Wow! finally a wild photo of this duck! Wished I'd have the time to go around like you do, Tonji. Great capture as always, controlling the exposure on the light parts of the bird.

Thanks Martin and Ely. I did not really do justice to the bird. I hope I see it again and take something better.
