Wow a KF In-Flight, that's difficult to catch I imagine. Very nice capture Bong, seems you're really enjoying that 1D very much.

Thanks guys. There were actually three of them that passed by me while I was waiting for the resident raptor in Sabang. They were so fast, but the 1DMKII's AF was able to capture this last KF in the pack. This combination (1DMKII & 400mm) is simply amazing. It did not escape the power of the 1DMKII's AF as it passed behind the top of a coconut tree.

It's not entirely the camera. The amazing combination is the man and the "machine", the Indian and the pana (bow and arrow).

BTW Bong, check the firmware of your 1DM2 if it's already V. 1.2.6. This latest FW allows the 1DM2 to recognize cards larger than 8 GB. Here's the FW download link: web.canon.jp/imaging/eos1dm2/eos1dmk2_firmware-e.htmlCaution - in case you're updating camera FW for the first time, please read the instructions carefully. A botched FW update can disable your camera and will need a trip to Canon service. Also, I believe that Canon service does FW updates for free. I do my FW updates myself and it takes but a few minutes.
