I've not posted in a while. I have been on a birding orgy these past several months. Sylvia and I have finally reached over 400 Philippine species photographed. Switching over to IOC from WBCP list now that we have reached 400+. We just came from Palawan last week and got a whole bunch of birds. Here is one from our first day. A lifer. Thanks Tateo. In Palawan it is similar to the Common Iora with the yellow color but the completely black head is the telling field mark.

Thanks Ely, Ramon and Des. This is a cute bird, I wonder why I did not see it on my previous trips.
