RED-CRESTED MALKOHA (Phaenicophaeus superciliosus). Endemic. This is presumably the superciliosus subspecies of central/southern Luzon. Taken from my viewdeck in BK Valley, Mt. Banahaw on 3/16/13. Canon 1DX camera, 800 mm lens, tripod. F/5.6, ISO-3200, 1/125 second. F/8, ISO-3200, 1/60 second. F/8, ISO-3200, 1/125 second.
