I was not very enthusiastic to be taking pictures at night but with owls sometimes you have no choice. What made me decide to go was to try the LED that my wife gave me last Valentine. I am glad that I went. The flashlight work very well and I saw friends like Neon, Bob & Cynthia, Ramon, Peter, Ivan, and of course Jops who invited everyone who is interested to see the owls. The mother Philippine Scops Owl (Otus megalotis) arrive on schedule and soon I saw the two fledglings. 1/40 sec., f/5.6, ISO 3200 This fledgling has his back turned to us but he was looking at us by turning his head 180 º to look at us. 1/13 sec., f/5.6, ISO 3200
