Here are some of the birds I captured in my two day birding in Iwahig and Sabang, Palawan. Spangled Drongo 1D MKII, 400mm, ISO 200, Hand held Pied Triller 1D MK II, 400mm, ISO 400, 1/200 sec @ f/5.6 Yellow-throated Leafbird 1D MKII, 400mm, ISO 200, 1/125 sec @ f/8.0

i think balicassiao is absent in palawan and what you have is the spangled drongo.

Indeed, Palawan is a treasure trove for a birding sortie. But two days is not enough, my stay is more of a familiarization tour. I manage to get a glimpse of the Tabon bird and the Palawan Pheasant Peacock. However, I was not able to properly set myself for a good shot at them since they were constantly on the move. They are hounded by the three monitor lizards and some monkeys.
