Last week, I went to Perez Zeledon and visited once again the the garden of famous bird book author, Dr. Alexander Skutch. This is the first time I visited the place since Ely and I went there last March. During the trip, I was happy to be able to capture the male and female of this Green Honeycreeper. All pictures taken using Canon 7D+400mm f/5.6L 1/160s, ISO 800, 1/160s, ISO 800

I am happy for you too that you were able to get both sexes of the Green Honeycreeper. It must have been a nice reunion with Andres & Ariel of Los Cusingos. Beautiful capture of the back view of the female reveals the colorful feathers that we normally don't see as the bird would normally face us. Well done Ariel & Mabuhay.
