I had a chance to go birding yesterday at LMEP with my son and daughter to introduce them to my hobby. I was able to get a photo of a juvenile red-bellied pitta, an evidence that they are thriving in the area. 1dm4, EF500 + 1.4x TC, ISO 1600 at f6.3, 1/10, tripod

Thanks, guys for the wonderful comments. Getting a photo of RBP is a always a challenge. The problem I have with this bird is I never get the details of the red feather. Can it be due to the camera sensor unable to get details of the red color? I have read some articles regarding this. I hope some of you can share your experience. Thanks.
