Hello Friends,
I got a few minutes to spare after viewing Sylvia's young Pitta taken recently.
So I dig my hard drives for some RAW shots of this interesting bird from past sorties in Mindanao. I'm happy to find some with the bird in full view. I still have to get a "closure shot" of this bird but I definitely can't complain on how these shots turned out.
Taking these photos however, is a back-breaking activity given the hip-level viewing angle to get a reasonable opening from the thick foliage at that time.
I'm viewing this on my tiny netbook so I would appreciate feedback on how the photo was rendered in your regular screens.
Thanks in advance.

I have always like birds and this is no exception. The best part about it is that it is endemic to the Philippines. Nice captures of this bird. Well done Nilo & Mabuhay.

Thanks Onnie and Ely. DocBoy and Mike, I was really hoping for that "little side view" angle to finally put closure...hayhayy... I guess this would be a another good reason to hit the forest trails soon...
