While waiting for the RPFC this pair perched just a few meters inside my lens' MFD so I needed to slowly back off and was able to shoot it at 8m distance a good 2.5m away from the MFD. If I have know this pair was followed by the RPFC around I would have shot the RPFC at the same distance that was perched just to my left and only saw it when I took my eyes off the VF when the MBFC pair flew to another branch. I wasn't able to train my camera on it as it went and followed the pair. Only on successive sorties that I realized what was happening. By following the MBFC family, the RPFC was an easy bird to find. :-) Mangrove Blue-Flycatcher ( Cyornis rufigastra) Female with fledgling5DM3 + 600 f4 IS + 1.4x Sigma TC, f6.3, 1/200 sec, ISO 12800, Tv priority, +1 EV, Tripod-Gimbal support, Under available light.

Looking at your picture and narration already tells me how much you like bird photography. Keep up the good work. Well done Neon & Mabuhay.

Thanks again my friends! Wish I could bird more often. I'm just drooling when I visit our site so I avoid it most of the time. :-(
