Hi everyone! Good Day! I'm observing these birds last weekend. The brown one that has dotted white was chasing the black one whole afternoon. There were 3 pairs chasing around the area and just ignoring me while i'm taking photos of them. Anyway, still searching the names of the birds and which female and male? anyone have an idea? The first and second pictures looks like an immature female Pied Bushchat. The third one is a male Pied Bushchat. The fourth picture is a Eurasian Tree Sparrow with a female Pied Bushchat below it. It looks like you had fun with this pair. Cheers & Mabuhay.

Thanks sir Ely for the information. At last I can now rest and stop searching on the net. Your right, I had a great time of these birds last weekend.

I broadly agree with Ely, though since females lack the white wing patch, I suggest that the immatures are immature males rather than immature females.

The things bothered me is why the female chasing the male? it's a form of mating or just playing around sir Ely???
