Sigma just announced a new Bigma with 4-stop OS. The range is now narrowed down to an easier-to-design 150-500 mm, keeping the brightness at the long end at f/6.3. The more realistic zoom range should make the AF speed even faster, as the focus throw is no longer so wide as before (50-500 mm). I also expect even better optical performance because there would be less compromises in designing for a very wide to very long zoom.
